Los Angeles Travel Adventure Show

Travel Adventure Show

Seriously, who wouldn’t want to meet Rick Steves and pick his brain about all his European adventures? What about Pauline Frommer, the daughter of the guidebook author who gives us the insights to where to eat and stay when visiting foreign lands? I’d like to hear their travel advice.

Maybe you don’t love to travel, but if you have come across my website, I am imagine a small does of travel has to be floating around your veins. Why not attend an event that is all about travel? Even if you are not awe-struck by travel writers, you would find plenty of information on travel at the Adventure Show in Los Angeles.

This even takes place January 12-13 at the Long Beach Convention Center.  Along with travel experts speaking, seminars, and panels, there will be activities you can jump on board with including scuba diving and zip-lining. And prizes, too. Yes, fun for the whole family (and 16 and under don’t pay an admission).

Head to L.A. and make a mini-vacation out of it. Why not travel to attend a travel show? If you live in the LA. area, even easier for you to attend. Tickets online are only $14.75 for the two-day event. If you add the food and wine-tasting event onto it, tickets are $24.75 each.

As a travel writer and travel enthusiasts, I would love to attend, but unfortunately can not make it this year. But, I wanted to pass this on to other travelers or travel writers or anyone in the travel industry. Go, Go, Go!  And please report back – I am hoping to make it next year.

The show is also taking place in other cities on other dates including Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, and Washington D.C.

  2. Hi Julie,
Looks like I would be able to visit the one in D.C. I definitely like to hear from people who have visited a place I want to visit. Especially if they are seasoned pro’s.

    Take Care.

Australia Through the Eyes of an Ordinary Man

I grew up as an eighties child, so one of my first memories of the land “down under” is a place where women glow and men plunder. Of course, at that time, I had no idea what Men at Work meant by that phrase. I’m not sure I even do now. Around that same time, […]
